Description:

This interactive half-day workshop in the assessment and treatment of VPs offers an opportunity to consolidate your existing knowledge of VPs, improve your confidence in their recognition, diagnosis and management, including a review of evidence based treatment methods in clinical practice.   

 

What will I learn?

• Anatomy and physiology of the skin in relation to VPs

• A greater understanding as to why and how verrucae form

• A greater awareness as to the different clinical presentations you may come across in clinical practice

• The significance of informed consent

• The opportunity to explore different evidence based treatment modalities available from Acids & Tapes to Cryosurgery & Needling

• How to treat the VP with different medicaments

• Techniques for using 'Cryo' including DermaFreeze
