Podopaediatrics – Little Considerations

 

Description:

Podopaediatrics is an area of medicine focused on the diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders in children. This seminar will focus on the basic principles of child development, relevant milestones, normal and abnormal development, and commonly occurring foot pathologies in the paediatric patient.

 

What will I learn?

An understanding of the basic principles of child development in order to recognize normal and abnormal development. A greater appreciation for the different factors involved in both the assessment and management of a child, including comprehension and issues surrounding consent. A greater comprehension of commonly occurring foot pathologies and conditions in the young patient and treatment approaches in clinical practice.
