This essential half-day practical workshop focuses on the different safe and clinically effective methods of managing hyperkeratotic lesions, and the various scalpel and debridement techniques that one can adopt in clinical practice.

 

What will I learn?​

• The different treatment approaches in the management of corns, callus and other hyperkeratotic presentations

• A greater appreciation of the different medicaments, tools and blades available and how these could be used to reduce callus and enucleate corns

• Different practical holding techniques including safety considerations

• Practical experience in the use of different blades available

• The safe techniques for using gouge blades

• How to manage hyperkeratotic lesions both in the short and long term, and what can be done to prevent their occurrence
